To improve the quality life of the elderly, LSCM has developed a Multi – service Robot, which can be configured for multiple applications. The modular approach makes it easy to install different sensors and end-effectors. It is configured for an elderly care home setting. Equipped with different health monitoring sensors, it can collect and report the health status of elderly users. Meanwhile, it can incorporate health monitoring sensors such as: - Blood pressure - Ultra-wideband respiration rate - SpO2 - Body surface temperatures The robot can also provide other information by introducing Chatbot functions. Simple “weather forecast” and “customer services” demonstrations have been added. A power-assisted driving system has been also developed.
