“Excise Companion” is an excise monitoring system specially design for elderly. This system can be used in elderly care center with over hundreds of users or simply use it at home with one or two elderly stay at home. The system consists of four parts: exercise sensor, exercise equipment, APP for smart phone and data cloud server. The exercise sensor is attached to equipment for which will record down all the exercise movement data. The data are then transferred to smart phone via Bluetooth communication protocol. Exercise data captured in smart phone, is then transfer to cloud server via WiFi or mobile network for data mining analysis. The system will measure the user’s exercise performance against the target and conduct trend analysis. Push alert, client server base charting are the typical system output for user interpretation and follow up.
